Have your artwork
printed in the Register!
We're looking for an illustration
of a simple idea-charity.
To get that, we're holding a simple contest - The Art of Giving.
Age isn't key here. Professional illustrators are eligible, along with
little kids, backyard painters and people who just doodle.
Also, artistic ability is unimportant. What is key is heart.
The winning drawing will reflect the feeling created when one person gives
to another.Example: What does giving, caring,
kindness, helping or volunteering mean to you?
Contest dates: Now through 11:59 p.m., Nov. 6.
Illustration size: 10" X 10". Image must be
scanned and submitted as a jpeg file (No bigger than 3 megabytes). Winner
must provide original illustration to the O.C. Register. Artist must
be from O.C., CA.
How we pick the winner: Ten finalists will be selected:
five based on highest number of votes (vote maxium, 10 votes
per minute) and five based on judges pick.
The winning drawing will be selected by an expert judge and will become
the cover of our third annual Gift of Giving special section, published
in the Register November 18.
